Peer Tutoring Services - Winter 2023

Hello everyone,

We hope you’ve had a nice break between semesters, and that you are all safe and healthy! As of Winter 2023, all writing supports for University of Alberta students are being offered through Writing Services. We still offer peer tutoring as well as other services. Our friendly peer tutors are available to help undergraduate students get ahead of assignment deadlines, brainstorm or get written and verbal feedback on a draft, or develop an effective writing routine.

This Winter 2023, we will offer peer tutoring between January 13 and April 12. We will offer in-person and remote peer tutoring appointments. Appointments will be designated as either in-person or remote on the schedule. The Winter Live Tutoring schedule is now available for booking appointments. Please visit our website to learn more about Live Tutoring and refer to “Online Tutoring: A Quick Guide” for detailed instructions.

Our Winter 2023 Peer Tutoring hours are as follows:

Mondays: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (MDT)
Tuesdays: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (MDT)
Wednesdays: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (MDT)
Thursdays: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (MDT)
Fridays: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (MDT)

All appointments are booked through our online scheduling system: https://ualberta.mywconline.net/.

You can book up to TWO 30-minute Live Tutoring appointments per week, and you can book up to two weeks in advance. Please Note: If you need to cancel an appointment, you must do so at least 15 minutes in advance. You will be marked as a no-show if you are more than 5 minutes late to your Live Tutoring appointment. Your account will be disabled for the remainder of the term if you miss six appointments.
